ART-LAB | Germany, Brunswick
In this design, the task consisted of designing a building that incorporates creative spaces for individuals as well as new start-up companies. The complex is characterized by multiple small office and studio spaces, peripherally surrounding large open-plan office spaces. The exterior is notable for its wooden facade and lattice structure. The upper floor features sliding panels that provide shade. The idea of sustainability is a core feature of this design, with respect to the materials used, and a roof that has enough space to hold solar panels.
